  3. Select an Item to Paste:

    • Click on any item in the Clipboard history to paste it into your current document or application.
  4. Pin Items:

    • To keep an item in your Clipboard history, even after you restart your computer, click the pin icon next to the item.
  5. Clear Clipboard History:

    • If you want to clear all items in the Clipboard history, click the "Clear All" button at the top of the Clipboard history window.

Additional Tips

  • Sync Across Devices:

    • If you sign in with a Microsoft account, you can sync your clipboard across devices. In the Clipboard settings, toggle on "Sync across devices".
    • Choose whether to automatically sync text that you copy or manually sync the items you want to share.
  • Manage Individual Items:

    • If you want to delete individual items from the Clipboard history, click the three-dot menu next to the item and select "Delete".

Example Usage Scenario

  1. Copy Multiple Items:

    • You copy a URL, a paragraph of text, and an image from different sources.
  2. Access Clipboard History:

    • Press Win + V to open the Clipboard history.
  3. Paste Items:

    • In your document, click on the URL from the Clipboard history to paste it. Then, open the Clipboard history again and click on the paragraph of text to paste it, and finally, do the same for the image.

This feature is particularly useful when working on complex tasks that require multiple pieces of information from different sources, allowing you to manage and paste items efficiently without having to go back and forth between applications.
